All star selections are due today. Details about the League Picnic, All Star Game, and Home Run Derby on August 26 will be posted soon.
July 31: Only one playoff spot remains. Renegades play two games this week, and if they win both they force a tiebreaker game with Scabs. If this happens, the tiebreaker game will be played August 8 and the playoffs will be moved to August 10 and 17. If the tiebreaker game is not needed to determine the final wild card, then the playoff dates remain as scheduled on August 8 and 10.
The tournament schedule will be posted Tuesday morning, August 1st, followed by details about the League Picnic, All Star Game, and Home Run Derby on August 26. All star selections are due August 1st.
July 26: Mangold and Lehigh County have both clinched their divisions. Should Mangold and Stahleys end up tied with 4 losses, Mangold would win the tiebreaker by having the better division record. Should Lehigh County lose its final game, they would win both a 2-way tie with Scabs or a 3-way tie with Scabs and Renegades, by having the better division record.
With division titles wrapped up, the focus switches to the wild card races. Stahleys controls their own destiny with a 3-game lead over SKF in the Red Division, while the Scabs and Renegades fight it out in the Blue Division.
The tournament schedule will be posted by the end of this week.
The League Picnic and All Star Game is Saturday August 26. All star selections due August 1st. Details will be announced after the tourney schedule is completed.
July 21: With only two weeks remaining, Mangold (Red Division) clinches the first playoff berth of the season. Stahleys controls their own destiny for the other Red Division playoff berth, and remains in contention with Mangold for the division title.
Meanwhile, the Blue Division has quite a complicated pennant race going on. Lehigh County, Scabs, and Renegades are all in contention for Blue Division playoff berths. Lehigh County still has to play Scabs twice and Renegades once. This pennant race could not have been planned any better than this.
The tournament schedule is almost complete. Please be patient.
