Tarah L from Sidelines becomes the first two-time winner, and first back-to-back winner of the league's home run derby by defending her 2008 title. Congratulations to Tarah on her continued success.

Frank R from Mangold and Dwayne B from A&H Sporting Goods share this year's home run derby title after a tiebreaker round ended in a tie.

RULES
Men and women compete separately, but are mixed together while batting.
Prizes will be awarded to the top male and female participants.

Order of hitters will be determined randomly.
Top hitters among men and women advance to a second and final round.

You should bring your own pitcher. If not, one will be provided at your own risk.
You should bring your own approved softballs. If not, softballs will be provided at your own risk.
You should bring your own approved bats. If not, bats will be provided at your own risk.

Home run distances are 210 feet for men and 120 feet for women.
All home runs must be clearly over the home run line.
Each batter is allowed 3 practice swings in the first round only.
Each batter is allowed 5 outs in a round.
An out is any contact with the ball which is not a homerun.
A swing and a miss is not an out.

The winner is the person with the most homeruns in the second round.
If tied, first round totals will determine the winner.
After that, additional rounds will be played to determine a winner.
